The decision
Record the billing period, minimum hours, termination notice and any prepayment. Identify whether unused time is refundable, credited or forfeited, and who approves changes to the assistant's schedule. Do not rely on a verbal description of flexibility.
What to compare
Ask how confidentiality, system access, device arrangements and incident reporting are handled. Review the replacement process and any direct-hire or buyout provisions. Keep the work scope attached to the agreement so each side knows which tasks were priced.
Before you commit
Have the relevant internal decision-maker or adviser review provisions affecting your practice. A comparison site can identify questions, but it cannot determine whether a specific agreement fits your legal and operational requirements.
