US-based company or US-hours coverage?

These claims answer different questions.

The decision

A US business address describes the provider's entity or office. It does not necessarily describe where the assistant works. US-hours coverage describes the shift. A candidate outside the United States may work your clinic's day, while a domestic company may use an international workforce.

What to compare

Ask for the proposed talent location, time zone, exact schedule and approach to daylight-saving changes. For a live phone role, confirm who covers breaks, holidays and unexpected absences. For asynchronous administration, confirm when completed work will be available.

Before you commit

Evaluate communication skills through the actual workflow. A country label does not guarantee language ability, clinical terminology or EHR familiarity. Record those as separate interview criteria.
